How it works
Automatic backup, no generator, no gas
The battery stores the energy your panels produce and delivers it when the grid fails.

What people ask us most
How long does the battery last during an outage?
It depends on how much you use and what you choose to back up. During the assessment we calculate how many hours of backup each configuration gives you with your real usage, and during the day your panels recharge it.
Can I add batteries to my existing solar system?
In many cases, yes. We check your inverter and electrical panel to confirm compatibility and explain your options.
Which battery brand is right for me?
The one that fits your system, usage and budget. We work with Fortress, Tesla, Enphase and Franklin, so our recommendation isn't tied to a single brand.
Do I need solar panels to have a battery?
A battery alone can give you backup, but without panels it depends on the grid to recharge. With panels it recharges from the sun even if the outage lasts several days.
Does the battery need maintenance?
Very little. You can check its status in the manufacturer's app and, if you need service, the same number that sold it to you is the one that answers.
Can the battery be financed?
Yes. You can include it in SunRun or credit-union financing, just like the panels. Subject to credit approval.
